Event Details

Each year the World Affairs Council and its Global Philanthropy Forum honor Bay Area leaders with a deep knowledge of and profound impact on the world in which we live, work and learn.

 


 

2010 Honorees:

Paul S. Otellini, President and Chief Executive Officer,  Intel Corporation
For his leadership of Intel’s strategic development of the next generation of math and science innovators.

John L. Hennessy, President, Stanford University
For his leadership  in Stanford’s on-going role as a powerful engine that cultivates ideas and entrepreneurs creating innovative new companies and solutions.

The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation
For its contributions to global development, education and the practice of philanthropy. Accepting the award on the foundation's behalf will be Paul Brest, president of the foundation.
