UPCOMING SHOW

El Centro Impressions

Bill dietch

September 7– November 19 (Opening reception: September 17)

In this exhibit, Bill Dietch's photographs depict the people and their lives in the transparent culture that exists on the streets of Havana's Centro neighborhood, 50 years after the Castro revolution. El Centro is often described as the center of Havana's universe. It is where all of life's triumphs and tragedies (and everything in between) seem to be played out on the streets.

Dietch is primarily a street photographer documenting the urban experience. He works solely in the black and white medium that seems to capture the feel of urban landscapes in a way that he is able to visualize. He has done projects in the US, Europe and South America. He has been an active participant in the San Francisco arts community for many years and has lived here since 1975.
