World Affairs Council Planned Giving
 |
For more than six decades, the World Affairs Council has been the preeminent organization in Northern California dedicated to informing, engaging and connecting a community of global citizens with the most critical global issues of our day. Today more than ever, the landscape of pressing political, economic and social challenges we face at home and abroad demands international understanding and cooperation.
The work we do at the Council can change lives. It is through the renewed and lasting commitment in the form of bequests, charitable gift annuities and other life-income gifts that the future success and vitality of the Council is ensured.

Committee for the Future
|
Members of the Committee for the Future are visionary leaders who make an investment in the Council’s future.
The Committee for the Future, the legacy society of the World Affairs Council of Northern California, was founded by former Council Chairman Louis H. Heilbron in 2002 to honor individuals and families who have named the Council as a beneficiary in their estate plans.
In recognition of this commitment, Committee members and their families are invited to an exclusive luncheon or dinner with an inspirational Council speaker. In recent years, Committee members enjoyed hearing from Nobel laureates Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Wangari Maathai and José Ramos-Horta, as well as statesmen George P. Shultz and William J. Perry.
