what we do

The World Affairs Council of Northern California offers a forum where diverse audiences engage in critical issues that inform their actions. Policymakers, business executives, philanthropists, academics, students, civic leaders, and an attentive public join in the Council's programs to listen, learn, discuss, and debate - deepening understanding and finding solutions.

We identify the critical issues and actors on the global stage and bring you in-depth information that goes well beyond the headlines. You can access our programming both in person and online and you can get more involved by joining one of our community programs.
